Would you please start to put aside Mason jars, rings and unused lids for the Well-Preserved Grannies? Their priority is the 250 ml size followed by 500 ml then 125 ml. They cannot re-use commercial jars, unfortunately.
As the year progresses, if anyone has a surplus of rhubarb, or of any kind of soft fruit (including blackberries) the jam and jelly makers would love to take it off your hands. The delicious green tomato chutney can look after any unripe tomatoes you don’t want to keep.
