Join us in learning to line dance with a wonderful G2G member and instructor in a safe and fun environment — with all the proceeds going to the Stephen Lewis Foundation
A New and Fun way to Stride to Turn the Tide Against HIV/AIDS and support Grandmothers in Africa!
What: Line Dancing Lessons
When: Mondays and Thursday at 2:00 PM in February and March, 2024
How often: Starting February 05 – Twice a week for two months
Where: Shelly Centre Hall, 186 Shelly Rd, Parksville, BC
Who: Caroline Nichols – Our Oceanside G2G Line Dancing Queen
Why: Raise funds for the Stephen Lewis Foundation
Cost: $10 per lesson, $40 for four, $80 for 8
Do I need to sign up for all the lessons: No, you can drop in to dance on the days offered or you can sign up for a few or all the lessons. Your choice! Start now or start later. Go one day a week or both. It is all up to you. Come for the fun and fellowship!
How does that work? Caroline will offer lessons, you pay for the lessons. If you purchase 2 or more at a time ($20 worth), that money will be sent directly to the SLF in your name and you will get an income tax receipt for your donation.
Who can join in: Anyone! G2G members, friends, family, spouses
What else can I do? If you don’t want to dance, you can just make a donation of $20 or more and get a tax receipt. This will help us pay for the hall.
Stride: You can also create your own Stride fundraising account and get family and friends to sponsor you as you learn how to dance! Or you can continue on with walking, biking, cycling, gardening, knitting, or whatever other activity you would like to do for Stride. NOTE: The Stride page is not yet active on the SLF site; we will let you know when it is.
What do I do right now: If you are interested, please email Caroline at caroline.nichols@hotmail.com or reply to this email at g2goceansideupdates@gmail.com
